18 Rogers Gold Infielder Sophia McCoy Commits to University of Pittsburgh

USA Athletics 18 Rogers Gold athlete Sophia McCoy commits to University of Pittsburgh. Apple Valley student-athlete plans to study physical therapy or kinesiology.

We are proud to announce that Sophia McCoy has committed to the University of Pittsburgh to continue her academic and athletic career.

McCoy, plans to pursue a degree in either physical therapy or kinesiology while competing at the Division I level.

McCoy is from Apple Valley, California, and trains at EM Speed & Power in Rancho Cucamonga.

She expressed gratitude for the strong foundation provided by her parents who have supported her throughout her journey as a student-athlete. Her goal of attending a four-year university on a softball scholarship will be realized at the University of Pittsburgh.
