USA Athletics RML 18U senior Kayla Cisneros has been named the 2025-2026 CIF-SS Academic Student Athlete of the Year for Millikan High School.
Cisneros, a Class of 2026 graduate from Long Beach, California, carries a 3.97 cumulative GPA while competing as a gap-to-gap hitter known for stretching singles into doubles and legging out triples to generate runs for her team.
Cisneros has been with USA Athletics for eight years, beginning with the 10U program and working her way up to RML 18U.
Both of her parents were Division I athletes competing in baseball and softball, instilling in her the values of hard work, dedication, and competitive drive.
RML 18U, is by Coach Michelle Lehr. The team placed 5th at PGF Nationals 16U Premier in Summer 2025, 3rd at the Fall 2024 PGF Shootout, and was ranked 27th nationally among top 16U teams by LineDrive Media.
