USA Athletics Mora-Mota 12U has earned a coveted Platinum berth to the PGF National Championships after their successful performance at the Huntington Beach Qualifier.
Under the leadership of coaches Mota, Mora and Ramos, the team posted an impressive 3-1 record in the qualifying tournament, winning both games on Saturday and splitting their Sunday matchups.
The Platinum Division serves as an important pathway to the Premier Division, which is widely recognized as the premier youth fastpitch softball division in the country.
Competition for these berths is particularly intense, as PGF policy allows only one team per organization in each age division to receive an invitation to the National Championships.
With this qualification, Mora-Mota 12U has earned the opportunity to compete against the nation's top teams at the PGF National Championships in Huntington Beach, California.
Their performance at the qualifier demonstrated the skill and preparation necessary to advance to this prestigious national tournament.
