Peyton Gaytan Commits to Biola University for NCAA Division II Softball

USA Athletics Rogers 18U Gold player Peyton Gaytan (#17) has committed to Biola University to continue her softball career at the NCAA Division II level. 

The 5'8" catcher, third baseman, and utility player from Apple Valley, California, will join the Eagles' softball program that competes in the Pacific West Conference (PacWest) at their La Mirada campus.

Gaytan, a Class of 2026 right-handed batter and thrower, brings nearly a decade of softball experience to Biola University. 

Currently attending Apple Valley High School, she has developed her skills under the guidance of USA Athletics coach Mike Rogers while competing with the Rogers 18U Gold program based in Long Beach.

"I love the high energy and adrenaline rush that softball gives me," Gaytan shared in her personal statement. 

"I have made some of my best and favorite memories with my team and playing softball in general."
